This review is from: Cherry Finish Secretary Writing Desk & Chair I'm personally very happy with this desk. Everything arrived before the expected delivery date and was relatively easy to assemble. I think the desk is very attractive but I will warn buyers that it does look a tiny bit redder than you see in the picture. To me the color and the shine on the finish just makes the desk stand out more but it remains very elegant. I'll also point out that only one of the three drawers shown in the picture is actually functional (the middle one of course). This review is from: Cherry Finish Secretary Writing Desk & Chair I was totally amazed that there was not one shred of packing material inside the box. Our product came quite damaged. I cannot see how it could arrive without any damage at all. it seems like the company made no effort at all to insure that the product would arrive without damage. Also, the description of the item did not note that the drawer fronts are only particle board covered with paper that is meant to simulate the look of wood. Because of this the front of the desk does not match the top in color or woodgrain pattern. The company was very helpful and willingly issued a refund.
