The brushes help clean out dirt from the grout lines on tile floors, and because it pivots in so many ways I can get into places the turbine head (and the non-articulating version of the Hard Floor Tool) can't dream of reaching, such as beside the fridge or behind the toilet. Picks up things off hard floors that the dyson vacuum won't such as pebbles, pet food, and bigger clumps of dirt. I'll carry the dyson around in my left hand and clean all the hard floors in the house with this thing. It has a very low, and a very narrow profile. True, it does flip over on itself once in a while when I'm moving it from one job to another, requiring a little twisting to get it into position, but it allows me to use a long handle and stand up to do jobs that formerly required me to get onto the floor and reach into the tight spaces.Downside? Too expensive. Update: I've had this accessory for almost a year and am upgrading my original 4-star rating to 5 stars. This is the tool I don't want to be without. It makes quick work of pie-shaped stair treads and the little space between cabinets and walls. |
